The PVDF membrane syringe filter exhibits extremely low protein and preservative binding and is compatible with a wide range of solvents and acids. Manufacturing processes ensure extremely low extractables. Syringe Filters are used for include filtration of antibiotics, vaccines, diagnostics, serum, tissue culture media and media additives. The product can also be used for clarification and purification of deionised water, aqueous solvents, acids, bases and plating solutions.

The membrane has two different properties. Hydrophobic and hydrophilic. 

The Hydrophobic membrane is low protein-binding. It is useful for HPLC sample filtration as well as general biological filtration. 
The hydrophilic membrane is usd for aseptic filtration in biological pharmacy.

It is cut into some disc membrane that guarantee exceptional integrity when filtering some sample. Then through into non-gap sealing, virgin medical PP material is placed to contain all the disc membrane.
